What is Calcium Chloride CaCl2 Chemical?

Calcium chloride, also known as calcium chloride, is a small white, anhydrous or flakey granule, without odor and water soluble. The element is mainly created from limestone, a natural material.

This is a salt compound made up of two elements Ca2+ and Cl-. It is highly water soluble and it dissipates heat when it is at room temperature. Calcium chloride, strong base, has high hygroscopicity. - In industry, CaCl2 is added to the raw material to make the concrete stronger and give the floor or column a higher bearing capacity.
